Debs Connell Psychotherapist & Wellbeing Coach
About me
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for 20 years as Human Resources / Training Manager. A key function of this role was around the pastoral care and wellbeing of employees which I was passionate about. Already qualified as a coach and adult teacher I wanted to do more to support people, so trained in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and set up practice in 2012.
I have helped clients overcome a range of psychological and emotional problems and supported many people living with a medical condition. I have an extra special interest in menopause, fibromyalgia, self-esteem / self-worth issues.
I use a range of therapeutic techniques including psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, coaching and mindfulness to help clients. Definitely not a smile and nod kind of practitioner but am easy-going, supportive and sincere.
Based in Baxenden, I offer a confidential and very relaxed place for you to work through any issues or just empty your head. It is the perfect space for you to explore and find a way through the difficulties that you are experiencing so you can make a positive change to your life. Whatever the issue we can find a strategy that suits you – together we can make it happen!
I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society.
